Christie does not seem to have taken an active part in this meeting and, in fact, the ROG's input seems to have been limited to the submission of a paper on 'Observations of Denning's Comet' and the election of 'F.W. Dyson, M.A., Fellow of Trin. Coll., Camb., Royal Observatory, Greenwich, S.E.'.
